Marisa Sharpe

Marisa is a freelance social media and community manager. Leveraging her diverse background in community building, social-media, customer success, and non-profit fundraising. She helps companies effectively engage their audience through social media.

Misty Dean has over 20 years of traditional and non-traditional marketing. Outside of assisting 2myplace with their marketing needs, you will find her with husband and two boys.

Jessica Hamlet

Family Coordinator

A self-described “Overcomer”, Jessica’s determination – supported by friends, family, professionals and mentors – empowers her and drives her forward against the odds. She has successfully taken the difficult transition to a life of new beginnings and new challenges after many years of exploitation – a journey most of us cannot imagine.  Her belief (and daily investment) in the transformative power of education, self-exploration, discipline and humor fuel her to continue to develop and deliver to the world more of what she has always had within herself: strength, intelligence, integrity, grit, compassion, and a love of life and family.  Jessica’s journey is not hers alone.
Through her unique perspective and her leadership, she serves 2MyPlace so that she may help others to take the leap forward into their own new beginnings. Says Jess:  It’s a lifelong process, but with work and support, we can be more than Survivors… we can be Overcomers”

Jade Crosby

When Jade isn’t watching Gilmore Girls reruns, you can catch her running her creative media company, Soul Coffee Creative, or performing on stage. She has studied acting and musical theater at Stella Adler Studio of Acting in NYC and has worked behind the scenes with BET, Tyler Perry Studios, PETA, & The Humane League. From advocating animal rights to women empowerment, Jade is a passionate activist in hopes to spread positive change through creativity.

Shayna MicuccI

Shayna has a masters degree in social work with 6 years of experience in the field, and a lifetime of personal lived experience guiding her. She can provide support via case management, alternative resources, and mentorship. Her specializations include: overdose, harm reduction, and suicide. Shayna’s history of working with clients and communities includes additional expertise around: stigma, grief and loss, adverse childhood experiences, mental health, substance use, homelessness, and more. She has served populations including: people who use/inject drugs, LGBTQ, unhoused, and youth – Speakers Panel/Advocate.

Corey Lewis

Corey Lewis is a youth development specialist, certified life coach and entrepreneur. He is the founder of Inspired by Lewis, LLC. Mr. Lewis has a desire to help others achieve their personal success. His passion is to work with youth to uncover hidden talents, overcome obstacles, enhance confidence, and help them to realize that success is within their reach but also comes with hard work and determination. Mr. Lewis has educational experience working with students within the K-5 Emotional & Behavioral Disorder classrooms. He also participates in numerous outreach efforts such as Stand up For Kids, Must Ministries, and Bridges for Hope in which he invests his time with homeless youth and other children whom have parents that are incarcerated. Mr. Lewis works diligently with the Department of Family & Child Services and children within the foster care system –  Speakers Panel/Advocate.

Dr. Kevin McKinnon

Dr. Kevin McKinnon’s career spans more than 25 years of healthcare experience and he currently serves as the President and CEO of Keme62 Medical Solutions located in Atlanta, Georgia. His volunteer services include Board Chairman of the Dekalb Community Service Board, Brighter Foundation, Associate Minister of multiple churches and work with various youth-centered organizations. Additionally, Dr. McKinnon is the author of “Next Level Pursuit, which focuses on exceeding performance standards. 

Kevin McNeil

Kevin created The Twelve Project to be the bridge between the lack of knowledge and awareness about abuse and people’s desire to learn. His own personal battle with abuse and constant struggle with suicidal thoughts, alcohol addiction and depression encouraged Kevin to help others become more aware of the destructive effects of abuse on our world; and now provides resources with the aim of healing and teaching individuals, families and communities – Speakers Panel/Advocate.

Tammy Spence

2myplace is one of the few organizations that is working on prevention and education to stop the cycle of creating vulnerable kids; Speakers Panel, where she plays a hands-on role in the recovery, rehabilitation and restoration of over-comers. Tammy is also the Founder of She Has A Name (#theBellaandDaniproject) and has received multiple awards for her tireless dedication to victimization and human trafficking.

David S. Cochran

David has over 35 years of leadership experience at four Fortune 500 companies. As a dynamic leader and motivating team player, he enjoys being active in the local and global community where he serves on boards of educational and philanthropic organizations. David is President and COO of The Global Impact Group, a non-profit focusing on using technology to solve social and humanitarian issues.

Annette Mansfield

As a retired Associate Director with Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Annette has held various leadership roles in her 28 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry. Her skill sets include sales, contract negotiations, public speaking, account planning and project management. Annette is committed to providing resources to reduce risk factors for kids.

Michael James Borgerson

Mike is a UPS Senior Executive currently consulting to bring healthcare and humanitarian relief to underserved countries through the UPS Foundation. Borgerson is raising three children and believes that parenting blindly to the real and immediate risk of human trafficking in our or any community needs to stop.

Yanic Jeans-Jacques

As a Fulton County School Social Worker and therapist, Yanic is dedicated to supporting the potential and mental wellness of all kids. She earned a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Florida State University and began her career being an advocate for children as a therapist with The New Horizons Community Mental Health Agency in Miami, Florida. Yanic’s affiliations and volunteer history reflect her commitment to women and children.

Alana Peralta

Alana is currently finishing her degree in Psychology at Kennesaw State University and has an Associate of Science from Georgia State University. For the past 6 years, she has worked with children and provided inspiration and opportunities to enable them to reach their full potential. Her passion for kids leads her heart to help heal, educate and empower them for success.

Sunny Nastase

Sunny is a retired UPS senior executive and has held leadership positions in 3 Fortune 500 companies over 30 years. She currently serves on several public, private and non-profit boards and is a sought-after speaker on issues such as Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Sunny is particularly committed for the rights, safety and well being of teens and young adults.

Cindee Sapoznik

Founder and CEO

Cindee Sapoznik is the founder and CEO of 2myplace; a non-profit focused on coaching teens based in Atlanta, GA. In this role, Cindee teaches young adults the necessary life skills to become successful adults. She provides the tools of confidence, stress and anxiety management, communication and social media boundaries. She is committed to engaging young adults to focus on individual strengths, self-esteem and a clear path for their future. 2myPlace also offers business ethics including LinkedIn, resume building and interviewing skills. The goal is to give teens and young adults the guidance they need for successful communication. 

Cindee’s previous roles have included volunteering at The Drake House, Every Woman Works, Wellspring Living, The City of Refuge, Fulton Community Charity, Roswell United Methodist Church Job Networking and The Hired Authority. She is a member of the Rotary Club to End Human Trafficking and sings in a Broadway chorus while visiting Assisted Living and Memory Care Centers in her spare time. 

She lives in Roswell (GA) with her husband, Alberto and their two rescue boxers. She is the proud mom to two grown, fabulous sons, Eric and Brett. Her greatest happiness comes from helping others and bringing laughter and peace into our world.
